Issues
Reporting a bug is usually complex, because we need to reproduce it. Please read this guide carefully before creating a new issue and provide the following information:
Title
A good title should be a short, one-sentence description of the issue, contain all relevant information and, in particular, keywords to simplify the search in the issue tracker.
Description
Provide a clear and concise summary of the inconsistency or problem you have encountered in the application and describe the severity of the problem:
- Keep it short and concise – we need to understand what's wrong, so we can fix it.
- Describe the problem correctly:
- A description of the environment (application version, platform, language and any other useful description if necessary).
- A clear and concise description of the blocking part, with the error message if possible.
- If you're developing a plugin, there's no need to make a complete copy of your code. The relevant part is more than sufficient. Explain the why, not the how. Focus on articulating the problem and its impact as clearly as possible.
- Describe the problem correctly:
- One issue at a time – if you encounter several unrelated inconsistencies, please create separate issues for them. Don't report them in the same issue – it makes attribution difficult.
- Choose the right project to postpone the issue - where to report the problem:
- Reporting a Server issue
- Reporting a Client issue
- In each GitHub project of all plugins, you have an issue section. Use it if the problem you are experiencing comes from the plugin so that the contributor who created it can get back to you.
